CO2 Laser also called Carbon Dioxide Laser, it emits invisible infrared light beam with a wavelength of 10,600 nm.  CO2 laser medical application is based on Photothermal Ablation . When CO2 laser beam is directed to the targeted soft tissue, the energy of CO2 light beam is absorbed by water existing in the soft tissue, therefore produces enough heat to vaporize the tissue.
